Welcome to

THE LEGACY COLLECTIVE COMMUNITY

Where Learning, Culture, and Connection Thrive!

At The Legacy Collective Community, we offer a nurturing and empowering environment where in-person learning, community, and cultural heritage converge.

Our co-op programming is designed to support the holistic development of homeschooled children from diverse backgrounds, with a special emphasis on celebrating and honoring Black culture and heritage.

We equip students with essential life skills, a strong sense of identity, and the tools to thrive as well-rounded individuals in society. We are committed to instilling strong cultural pillars of success and facilitating a deep connection to the Black community while understanding how to collaborate with others in the community.

Through our monthly Community Day, weekly Legacy Days, and culturally enriching classes, we create a space where families can collaborate, form meaningful connections, and energize their learning experiences.

Empowering Minds, Celebrating Culture, Building Community

Our Vision

The Legacy Collective Community envisions a thriving, united community where Black and Brown families, entrepreneurs, homeschool groups, and community organizations lead the way in empowerment and growth. As a cornerstone organization, we are committed to nurturing lifelong education, cooperative economics, health, innovation, and cultural heritage while fostering collaboration. Through a physical space dedicated to collective progress, we aim to uplift the Black community and create opportunities for all underserved groups to flourish and contribute to a brighter, more inclusive future.

What We Have Going On

On the 1st Thursday of every month, we offer an exciting mix of age-appropriate book clubs, engaging workshops, and fun team-building challenges! Occasionally, we’ll also host a vibrant community event or fair. It’s a perfect day of learning, bonding, and having fun!

Monthly Community Days

Legacy Days offer dynamic 9-session semester classes covering various topics, including Chess, Creative Arts, STEM, Physical Education, Black Culture, Life Skills, Public Speaking, and more. It’s a unique opportunity for growth and learning!

Weekly Legacy Days

We provide our youth with hands-on community service opportunities that foster leadership, empathy, and a spirit of giving back, all while making a meaningful impact. It’s a chance for young people to grow and make a difference.

Community Service  Opportunities

Through our Teen Leadership Council, dances, and social outings, we offer teens exciting opportunities to develop leadership skills, connect with peers, and have fun in a supportive environment.

Teen Social Events

Our cultural events, like the Black History Celebration and BYEE, empower youth to lead, create, and shine. These events celebrate culture, encourage creativity, and give kids hands-on roles that build confidence and community.

Build the Legacy

A Space for Growth. A Place for Us.

The Legacy Collective Community is growing—and with your support, we can take the next step in our journey.

We’re seeking funding to expand our programming by purchasing or leasing a dedicated space that truly reflects the heart of our mission—a space that allows us to serve more families, host more cultural events, and create an even stronger village.

We are currently 501(c)(3) status pending. For those interested in donating or helping us fundraise, we welcome your support. Once our tax-exempt status is approved, all donations will be retroactively recognized as tax-deductible from March 28, 2025. Donors will be notified and provided with the appropriate documentation at that time.
